"Efficient, compact, light, easy to use and clean.
I absolutely love my Dyson! After buying 3 different hoovers in 6 yrs of the pull a long variety (heavy), and each one losing suction or a complete pain to clean I have now found a hoover which fits the bill completely.
Expensive, yes, but this one will last and definitely worth the extra money."

"Having finally given up on my Vax vacuum cleaner on account of parts constantly breaking and the loss of suction after only 6 months i decided to take the plunge and spend the money on a Dyson... best money i've spent in a long time, made short work of our carpets and the ball does make it make it easy to get round the furniture! Bad points, not that keen on the extendible hose, quite stiff and difficult to use in places but think i could get used to it, and quite noisy but what do you expect..its a vacuum cleaner!!! I have a dog who's past time is to shed hair on my carpet, the Dyson picks up what you can see and what you cant with ease!!!!"

"The design of this vacuum is delightful. Every attachment slips in and out easily from its holder except there seems to be no holder space for the small rotor brush. This is a nuisance as you have to carry it around separately leaving you open to putting it down and forgetting where.
The motor is noisy and the whole machine is quite heavy but it does an excellent job of collecting pet hairs, cat(longhaired) and dog (short and dark). I have also used it on the floor tiles in my kitchen and it does a very efficient job there too. The 'bag' fills up quite quickly, or maybe I just have a very dirty house, but it is easily emptied."

"As a new user (had the machine only 2 months) I had a Dyson before, but this model is a great improvement !
Easy and light to move around the house (even the wife can use it !!).
The only minus is the short cable.
Definitely will shop at "Laskys" again ! What a bargin !!"

"We have had a Dyson for about 7 years now and the last one finally went into retirement so we brought the DC25 Animal.
The suction is much better than previous models and picks up so much more pet hair.
I searched the internet for quite a few hours on the cost of this model and Lasky's was the cheapest out there, have a look at Argos and you will see they are selling it for more that £100 more, how can they get away with it???

The vacuum is excellent and with the ball a lot easier to move around, it empties at the push of a button and is a lot easier and lighter to carry up and down stairs.

"We have had our cat for over a year molting away our flat. we previously owned a miele cat and dog which hardly picked up any hairs so we turned to Dyson as they are a reliable make. We ordered and it turned up a week later. We payed£237 which is a bargain and the cheapest online.
The vacum is fantastic, hardly had any assembly work to do. we live in a 1 bedroom flat so it was a perfect cable length. its very thorough on carpets although not so on laminate flooring. I would recommend this hoover to anyone with animals, as soon as we finished our living room. the container was full of hair."

"Lighter than my old Dyson. Easy to put together. Cylinder does fill up quickly but it's so easy to empty. I like the ball. This is an efficient and easy to use cleaner. Expensive but price comparison proved that Laskey's price was the cheapest."

"Excellent product by Dyson, could not believe what came out of freshly vacuumed carpets, and we were thinking our carpets were clean.
'You want clean dust free carpets you need Dyson animal'.
My 13 year old son loves the machine and volunteers to do vacuuming what more could i ask for.
Feel cord could have been longer otherwise all easy to use."

"I was extremely disappointed with this product. It looks, and is, overcomplicated.
On a positive note it has a very powerful suction but the positives stop there.
The dust cylinder did indeed fill up quickly not apparently with dirt but with a cream coloured fluff/pile from my cream lounge carpet!
I found it quite a lot heavier than my previous cleaner despite its lightweight description.
It is impossible to clean under furniture or the bed ,the ball is too big and the hose attachment is inflexibly angled so that it doesn't make contact with the floor when held at a low level.
The hose for high level cleaning is awkward and very difficult to stretch out to its fullest extent and even then it is 2 steps short of the top of the stairs. Too much like hard work as it requires a certain amount of strength to stretch it out (on the plus it quickly recoils back into the start position!)
All in all, it falls a long way short of the all round vacuum cleaner that I was looking for and seriously over priced."

"The dyson ball does what it says on the box - but assumes the user knows how all the bits will click into place. Took absolutely ages to figure out how to put back the extension tool - not at all intuitive and if I'd not previously owned a dyson, I don't think I'd have even been able to get it out never mind put it back. Granted, the user manual was misplaced at the time, but after 30+ years of reluctant vacumning one should be able to operate a new machine without taking a degree in home appliances."
