Pros: Compact, Durable, versatile
"I actually use this product more for watching blu-ray discs and dvds rather than gaming. Coupled with my Panasonic HD ready TV, I find the viewing outstanding. Picture quality is superb and the menus are extremely easy to navigate. On the occasions that games have been played, again the ease of use is tremendous and the wireless controllers are very comfortable to handle. The actual product itself is very neat and appealing to look at. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone thinking of purchasing it."

Pros: Compact, 2nd hand games are cheap, controller is bluetooth
Cons: new games are expensive
"The PS3 is a great piece of kit, but perhaps only if you're a bit of a geek. __1) It plays DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. __2) It can store and play photos, music and video, through your TV. __3) It can also (if you can be bothered to set it all up) stream photos, music and video from your PC over the network. __4) It plays PS3 games only (worth mentioning). _______________ The real benefit to all this is that it is a computer that plugs into your TV and HiFi that you enjoy from the sofa. (Rather than a PC that sits at a desk.) ____________ If it's going to be used extensively for the music and video side of things, it's worth checking out the remote control - it does make using it a bit easier than using the supplied games controller. ____________ One other point: to get the best from it, you need a Hi-Def TV, (1080i or preferably 1080p), and to plug it into a 5.1 Hi-Fi."
