PANASONIC NN-CF778SBPQ
The Panasonic NN-CF778SBPQ combines the efficiency of a microwave with the traditional browning and roasting of a conventional oven to ensure that your meal choice is endless. The innovative Flatbed design provides more usable space than standard Microwaves allowing greater flexibility on the size and shape of dishware that can be used - whether oval, rectangular or square. Chaos Defrost uses random pulses of microwave energy to dramatically reduce defrosting times. Not only does this speed up the defrosting process, but is also produces very even defrosting allowing the food to be used immediately for cooking.

Mircowave : Extremely easy to use, it cooks the food very quickly and evenly!
Oven: Very easy to use and makes you want to cook more! Just program the oven, press start, leave it and the timer advises you when your food ready, what more does anyone want!"

"I love this combi. This will be the third one I have bought! First went to my youngest daughter, after I had used it for 2 years, the second went to my Mum and this final one stays with me. I use it every day. Perfect for cooking for small families, though it was very useful when I cooked Christmas dinner. A fantastic purchase. :o)"

"We have had this Panasonic microwave for about 2 months and so far it has been excellent.
I had my first microwave in 1975 and have had 5 different ones over the years to 2006. They didn't break down but got left, sold or given away when we moved.
Then, in the last 5 years, we purchased cheap ones and have gone through 4 in that time!
So my husband said I should buy a quality one to save money! He was a bit shocked when I picked the top of the range but he now agrees with me that I picked the best one. BUT I am expecting it to last at least 10 years!
It is only a little bigger than the cheap ones but holds so much more, espesially square or rectangular dishes. The free Le Cruset casserol is perfect and the French cookery book is lovely.
The drop down door is such a good feature - safer and meaning less worktop space needs to be allocated than smaller models.
It performs very well:-
microwave = very fast
defost = nice and even
convection = very fast heat up to temperature
controls = easy to use
instructions = clear
It even has an eco setting that shuts it down if unattended and you don't have to have yet another LED clock flashing at you.
It looks very sleek, well made and elegant."

"This model replaced my Panasonic microwave. I find the addition of the convection oven very useful when there are just two of us. No doubt the grill has a purpose in combination cooking (very successful) but as a stand alone grill I found it very disappointing and no longer use it as such. All in all I am pleased with the product and would certainly buy it again. I cannot give judjement on reliability as I have had the appliance only a few weeks"

You can use this like any converntional oven due to having no turntable and two available shelves...use this as my main oven and my old combi as the microwave and works really well"

"Looks good and works well. Got good reviews with Which? and chose particularly for good grilling ratings.
Grill in the roof of oven looks difficult to clean - so prevention better than cure. Some reviewers say it's case gets hot in use, and it does. Some say it's big and it is bigger than an average microwave, but not massively so. The back of the works sticks nearly 5" out of the case which isn't pretty if you will place it so it's seen side on, but other than that it's smart and door is much easier to use than traditional side hinges unless you want to mount it high - in which case you're asking for singed forearms.
With all the cooking options it's a bit daunting to the non-experienced combi oven user, but Panasonic have done a pretty good job of making basics simple with good on-display comments.
Still feels weird without a turntable, but it works well and the traditional square oven grilling rack and oven tins are great.
We've done a bit of everything with it so far and very pleased. Just a small pity you can't grill open door -by eye."

"Truth be told, it was my husband that found this microwave. I wasn't really that interested but I had spent nearly a year without a working one so I thought it was about time. From the moment it came out of the box, all shiny and new, I fell in love with it. Sturdy, sleek and well designed, not only it it a handsome piece of kit it really works too. I managed to cook wonderful baked potatoes by using the microwave, oven and grill ALL AT THE SAME TIME, thats just witchcraftery of the highest order and made me giggle with glee. Truely a wonderous piece of equipment and I cant recomend it highly enough."

"This is a fantastic high quality item. We cook most things in here now instead of using the main oven, hence saving on cost. It is spacious and very useful having 2 levels for cooking different things together. The microwave is very fast and there are lots of pre-set options.
We like the drop down door at the front as it makes it easier to slide out the food.
My only issue is the inability to set times in increments less than 5 minutes once you get past 10 minutes (25 minutes for microwave), so you can't set a cooking time of 11 minutes etc for the convection or timer, you have to select 15 minutes."

"Combi microwave is the best ever. We have not used our main oven since we bought this. Having been able to roast, grill and microwave we have had some excellent meals made in this. Would use Lasky's again as they are very quick delivering even with heavy snowfalls."

"This was a replacement for an LG microwave that lasted 2 years. I got it for the flexibility of having an extra oven and grill and so far it has been brilliant. The grill seems faster than the one in my main oven and it is nice to have the additional convection oven. Haven't used some of the combined functions yet as instructions aren't intuitive and I find it is best of overestimate the weight when using the auto functions."

"My third Panasonic combi-oven, and is the best model yet. It serves as oven and m/wave--with this and a surface hob I do all my family cooking.
In contrast to previous purchases, I allowed myself time to study the instruction book, and found this paid off, as I now use the features efficently. Every recipe I've tried worked well except for the gingerbread which came out rock hard.
Highly recommended...the oven, not the gingerbread!"
