Pros: quiet, fast spin speed
"1600 spin speed is a real boon - it has reduced the time needed in the dryerby 20-30mins! i have found that for most washes i only need to use the 44min programme and then give it an extra high speed spin. the dial looks a little complicated after my old American style top loading machine, but the booklet is easy to follow and soon sorts this out. impressed with how quiet it is too."

"Went for this because of the high spin speed and the slightly larger than average drum size. Easy to use and the 1600 spin is great. The quick wash programs only spin on the medium cycle rather than the high spin but it only takes another 5 min if you want to do an extra spin at the higher speed at the end of a quick wash. the standard 40 degree cycle uses the high speed spin and takes about an hour and a half to complete the full cycle.
Really quiet, even at high speed.

"An excellent allround washing machine. The 1600 spin doesn't have make a difference to the weight of the load when you take it out! Very quiet - at least compared with our previous machine. Good range of useful programmes."

Pros: Compact, intuitive to use
"My mum had the 1400 version last year and was very impressed with it. When my washing machine broke down recently I had no hesitation in chosing this model for me. I've not regretted that decision. One complaint about the information given with it - is the lack of washing times on all the different washes."

"300 pounds is about enough to pay for a machine, if the pennies count, but I think you are getting an excellent deal with the OPH616.
It is easy to set up and understand the sensible balance of features. The controls are straightforward and the programs easily fathomed and clicked in to one's ample choice! Away she goes and quietly and efficiently gets on with the job in whatever way you ask. The 1600 spin speed, inevitably a little noisier in progress, leaves the washing well on the way to dry, that too your choice, but a big plus for me.
I rate this an excellent buy and Lasky's the people to buy it from"

"Can not rate this machine highly enough! Good looking, simple to use, good drum size, quiet spin, environment friendly 45 litres normal water consumption for a 60 degree wash and low energy consumption. Very good value for money. Will recommend to all my friends."

"Good drum size, v.good spin, v. quiet spin and excellent cleaning quality. Easy to use, just point the dial to whatever wash or spin you need and turn it on! Can't be simpler. Excellent value for money and very environmentally friendly with the autofill level, will only put in amount of water required wether it's 2 items, 10 items or 20 items. Would highly recommend, and you can't buy it cheaper than Laskys."
