"What can I say, despite all the snow etc, Laskys said they would deliver the Tuesday before Christmas, and so they did. TV was very simple to set up, my wife did it wouthout reading the manual. Picture quality is awesome, far better than our Panasonic LCD, depth of picture is almost 3D when watching DVD's!"

Pros: excellent image, sensitive tunner, easy set-up
Cons: panasonic wifi dongle too expensive.
"The PANASONIC TX-P42G20B Plasma TV is an excellent purchase that displays both Standard Definition and High Definition broadcasts superbly. Tuning in to Freeview and Freesat is simple and both broadcasts are superb as is the host of other media that can be shown.
Connecting the TV to your home PC wirelessly is also easy provided you have a suitable Wireless USB Adapter - I used a Netgear 3100, costing £20, which worked, but many other USB WiFi adapters will not!
Connection to a Panasonic Blu-ray player is a delight as the Contoller works for both. The picture is also brilliant when viewing Blu-ray material.
The NeoPDP Plasma display really does out perform any LCD / LED combination TV. Motion blur and grey looking blacks are a thing of the past as the picture quality really is that of Cinema standard.
An excellent TV for the price."

Pros: Inexpensive, Compact
Cons: sound
"Simple, sleek looks, with good picture and features that are easy to use.
Replaced our (long in the tooth) 2nd generation plasma and its easy to see the development in the past 9-10 years.
Sound quality from built in speakers could be better, but I may be being fussy as I'm used to it being fed through a receiver (which is now back in position).
Picture very good, but would suggest you read some of the forums elsewhere about how to adjust the standard settings (which I am about to do) as the standard Panasonic delivery settings are a little artificial to my eyes.
Delivery team used by Laskys - second to none, one of the best services I received through the snow before christmas, keeping us informed and fulfilling their commitment efficiently."

Pros: does everything well
Cons: except internet!
"Everything works as the ads describe, except for internet connectivity. Picture precise and steady, sound good for a television. Internet connectivity so restricted as to be useless for mw (might be worthwhile if you're into sports and footiie), so much so that I'm getting a front end to drive the screen from a media centre. Overall a very wothwhile buy."

"Have been looking for a new television for a while and have read many reviews by pros and ordinary users. In this price range £550-£750 i dont think you will find a better all round tv.
The out of the box picture is quite fantastic. The colours are excellent and if you watch HD pictures on it you wont be disapointed. Have been watching the Ashes test matches in HD and you feel like you are sitting in the ground watching the match.
There are many adjustments that can be made to get the picture to your exact requirements.
The sound i have maked as good and to get the most from this tv i would recommend adding extra speakers. I will be doing this soon.
It has all the connections you could want. Set up is very easy and takes just a few minutes. I brought a black glass stand for it and it looks fantastic on it.
To sum up,a great tv at a great price.

Pros: proper networking!, doesn't pixelise
"I have looked at large screen plasma for ages, but found fault in the pictures far to often. (I don't like to see the football go square with pixelisation when they kick it.. or seeming to trail ghosts when they run.)
This screen was the first one that I have found to be acceptable and I was not disapointed. Great colours and sound. Easy to set up. I now have it networked to a media Hub (DNLA) and it works brilliantly. (OK...I'm a networking engineer...)
To the guy in the previous review who cannot get a long enough ethernet cable, buy a powerline adapter for £30 and the guy who cannot get the digital signal to open on startup, look at the last option in setup and it allows you to set the source.
Overall, great bit of kit and the first worthy successor to the CRT.

Cons: doesn't default to digital signal on start up, hdd single tuner and 3 hour record time
"i have had this tv since early april and am still finding new features.this is a brilliant tv.would appreciate some calibration settings from panasonic but may have to get this done professionally as i hear this makes all the difference.just a mention to a comment from jenkman, you do not need a panasonic dongle, just buy a homeplug kit and connect through your mains circuit.i've done this and it works perfectly.hope this helps."

"I have resisted getting a large screen TV before now since I was never that impressed by the picture quality when using a non-HD source. I saw this Panasonic at The Gadget Show Live and was blown away with HD quality and features, and then checked it out in local Curry's for normal Freeview and saw that Freeview quality was OK. Since I bought it I can see that Freeview SD quality varies from poor to outstanding depending on the channel - eg Film 4 is very good.Freeview HD is excellent. I bought an external USB HDD to timer record/pause live TV and this works great apart from the restrictions of having a single tuner (can't watch another channel while recording).
Not used the built-in internet on it (don't want to shell out for Panasonic dongle and haven't got long enough ethernet cable), but have a PS3 which streams video wonderfully, and PS3 BBC iPlayer is nothing short of fantastic. It goes without saying that BluRay is stunning on it.
Although more expensive than some, I'd say you get what you pay for.

Pros: Inexpensive
"It's only been a week since I purchased this TV. I set it up myself and it was not too difficult. Panasonic advice was obtained on a couple of issues and that was easy to do over the telephone.
The set is most definitely the best I have ever owned. I was disappointed to note that the price has been reduced since my purchase though.
I had to get an aerial fitter to add a third connection to my Sky satellite dish before FreeSat would work and quite frankly, HD is somewhat overrated in my view. Maybe sport is better, but there is no sport available via FreeSat Perhaps HD will be more freely (and cheaply) available soon."
