"I was looking for a "no frills" CD/MP3 player to sit beneath my TV ... I wanted something in black, with a plain appearance. Trusting the Sony brand name, and having read previous reviews, I chose the SONY CMT-BX77DBI.CEK. I was not disappointed! The sound is excellent from a system of this price - deep bass and crisp treble - and it looks as though it was made to fit on my black glass shelf above my home cinema system. A simple, straightforward system that cannot be beaten at the price I paid; which was ariound £100."

Cons: poor dab radio
"Bought this to replace a two year old Sony DAB micro, it has better sound quality and has the iPOD mount. Easy to use especially the iPOD features. Bad point is that the DAB radio is not as good as the previous Sony micro, I cannot get any reception when scanning. I'm going to fit an exterior DAB aerial."
