Pros: number of options for heat, keeps warm for a certain period
Cons: difficult to see how much water is in the kettle
"I am pleased with this kettle so far but the telling will be in the longevity as I have had a number of kettles that have not lasted more than two years. It boils water very quickly and the best feature is that you do not always have to heat the water to 100 degrees which is great for me as I always put cold water in my black coffee so I can drink straight away but at 70 degrees you can drink it straight off, It also has a warming feature which keeps the water at the boiled temperature which saves you having to keep boiling if you want two cups of drink within a short space of time."

"This is a good all-round kettle. I particularly like the feature that lets you heat water to 70°, 80° or 90° rather than always boiling it. I think tea and coffee are better when made with 90° water, and I guess it saves a little energy too.
The insulated sides mean that the water stays hot for longer (apart from that there's also a "keep warm" button) and there's no risk of burns. The spout pours very cleanly. It's not too heavy and the handle is easy to grip.
So overall, no complaints. I'd buy it again."

"Have had to return this item after two months use as the plastic rim around the spout has started to disintegrate so when pouring from the rim it dribbles!! Apart from this tiresome detail it has performed very well. Not sure if this in a material fault i.e. a faulty batch, but not what I expect of Bosch. Hope the replacement which was very speedily and politely dealt with by Lasky's is better."

"i bought this as it came top with which,and the name was a name to trust, i have not been disappointed.maybe the only downside would be the weight [my dad liked it but lifted it and found it quiet heavy he is nearly 80]"

"This kettle is fantastically efficient and boils water at a moment's notice.
The only downside is that the water gauge is behind the handle, presumably to allow left or right handed use, which makes it tricky to read whilst filling at a tap. Would be better with a water gauge on each side."

"I read review after review on this kettle and the one cup type kettles, there appeared to be good and bad reviews for both but more bad reviews for the one cup - general opinion being you still needed a kettle available for larger quantities of boiling water (cooking etc). This kettle mainly had negatives about leakages but I have had my kettle a little while now - other reviews have stated that this is down to condensation and that the manual states this can happen - I've not experienced this. The kettle is super fast with variable temperatures and allows one cup also whilst allowing you to decide how much water is needed. Expensive but highly recommended."

Pros: Compact, temperature regulator, great design, safe outer shell (no hot jug)
"This is a great product. The temperature adjustment and insulated chamber can safe real money in the long run, also prompt in switching off. Only problem is that the base unit seems to be vulnerable, as its electrics broke once. The jug unit is very solid though. Lasky replaced without any hassle. This unit is designed in Germany, but made in PRC."

"Looks very stylish, easy to use and fill and boils quite fast too. I quite often press the keep warm button when I switch it on as I always find my self wondering off to do other things and then have to re-boil but with this function you don't, so its quite a handy option to have. Costs a little more to buy but well worth it."

"I read quite a few reviews on differnt sites for this kettle and one gripe that kept coming up was that it leaked. Well against better judgement i bought this kettle and now 6 weeks down the line there are big puddles of water under the base. The only place i can think it is leaking from is around the electrical connection at the bottom. Im really not impressed with this especially from Bosch, i would expect better. I will be contacting Laskys to get a refund i dont want a replacement Bosch kettle even if it does look really modern and stylish!!"
